This 18-cell Juvenille Detention facility was constructed for local youth with greater need for higher security. Along with this modern design in security detention, a series of state-of-the-art vocational classrooms and administration offices were included. Structural upgrades to the facility were made to accomodate for future growth plans in the way of a second floor and elevator. This facility was built mostly of CMU, structural steel, and metal decking for a 3-ply hot roof.

"The Northern California Regional Center was an addition to the existing juvenile detention facility. The project was completed on a bid/build basis. The success of this project was largely based upon the experience of our construction management team. As the general contractor on this project, Danco Builders was responsible for overseeing all the facets of the construction project. We self-performed the foundation work on the project. Subcontractors, with our close supervision, performed the remainder of the work according to code conformance. Quality control was top priority by our on site superintendent. This project was successful due to the fact that our field supervision constantly kept open the lines of communication with the owner and subcontractors.
